Helping Service Business Founders Remove the Bottlenecks That Hold Them Back
Over the past 12 years, I've built and scaled organisations from the ground up, growing teams to more than 70 people. Along the way, I learned what it takes to build a business that becomes stronger as it grows, rather than more dependent on its founder.
I started Resilient Edge after seeing the same pattern repeatedly: capable founders build successful service businesses, but remain at the centre of every important decision, client issue, and operational challenge. Eventually, the founder becomes the ceiling on the business's growth, capacity, and freedom. I know this challenge firsthand because I experienced it myself. As my own organisation grew, I had to build the systems, structure, leadership capability, and decision-making processes required to stop everything flowing back through me.
Today, I work with founders of service businesses to diagnose and remove the bottlenecks limiting their growth. That includes generating consistent demand, strengthening delivery, improving decision-making, and developing capable teams, all backed by the operating systems required to scale sustainably.
The goal is to build a business that grows in revenue, capacity, and value, without the founder remaining the constraint on everything.
My approach is practical and hands-on. I work with you to identify the constraints holding the business back, then help build the systems and leadership capacity to remove them in the real world.
If growth is starting to feel heavier than it should, or if too much of the business still depends on you, it may be time to build a more resilient way forward.
